Thoughts on the Corona Virus

That's a nice Poem a friend of mine wrote and was good enough to share.

The Corona Virus experience has been interesting and fortunately not as bad, so far, as many had feared. But, since they are tired of denying the obvious so as not to spread panic, it is pretty obvious that this bug escaped from the Chinese lab in Wuhan. Perhaps the truth will come out now that we have seen and spent some time with the CV.

Why obvious? It has been said that the truth is often the simplest concept that explains all the facts, but not simpler.

As far as the response is concerned, it doesn't matter how the virus occurred. The folks at the CIA say it was probably natural. They have a dog in the fight though. All major powers have the same kind of facility that the Chinese have in Wuhan. This type of thing could happen at any one of those and they don't want too bright of a light to shine on the whole operation. It gives the term that "we are all in this together" a different meaning. These are the same folks that couldn't tell bee excrement from nerve gas during the Vietnam War. Can we really trust them on this? It is already starting to look like they might get egg on their face.

To put things in context, 280,000 people die every month in the U.S. About the same number die from the flu each flu season. How many of the CV casualties were going to die anyhow from something else? Unless you know or knew somthing that you haven't shared, it is really hard to justify the kind of response that occurred.
